OUR HISTORY
WRG has expanded across Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, and Houston— becoming the largest MillerKnoll Certified Dealer in Texas. With the acquisition of OP and the launch of WRG Move, we’ve strengthened our expertise in furniture, architectural walls, and relocation services.
1988
Our Houston legacy begins with the founding of OP Houston, a Herman Miller Certified Dealer, establishing roots that would later become WRG Houston.
1994
WRG, a Certified Herman Miller Dealer, is founded in Dallas and begins serving organizations across North Texas.
2011
Lori Bauer becomes majority owner & CEO, establishing WRG as a woman-owned business, with Mark Bauer supporting business development and sales.
2011
WRG Houston launches its Build team, broadening its capabilities to include interior construction and positioning the company as a comprehensive workplace partner.
2015
WRG relocates to a new 20,000-square-foot showroom north of Dallas with an attached warehouse, showcasing timeless mid-century classics alongside the latest advancements in workplace design, furniture, and interior construction.
2019
In January 2019 WRG expanded into the Fort Worth market. When we found our permanent Fort Worth space we knew that preserving the history of Fort Worth was very important to us. Using adaptive reuse design principles, we have created a modern showroom in the historic Near Southside neighborhood.
2021
Herman Miller acquired Knoll, creating MillerKnoll. WRG subsequently transitioned from a Herman Miller Certified Dealer to a MillerKnoll Certified Dealer, expanding our portfolio of industry-leading brands and reinforcing our commitment to delivering comprehensive workplace solutions.
2023
WRG acquires OP Houston. Josh Bauer is named President of DFW. Adam Bauer is named President of Houston. Mark Bauer is named CEO, and Lori Bauer is named Chairwoman.
2025
WRG launches WRG Move, expanding our capabilities with a dedicated relocation and logistics division that provides seamless workplace transitions, furniture installation, warehousing, and comprehensive support services for clients across the country.
2025
WRG renovates its Houston showroom and expands operations within a 180,000-square-foot facility with an attached warehouse, creating a dynamic destination for workplace inspiration, collaboration, and client support.
