Design Within Reach was founded in 1998 with a mission: making authentic, modern furnishings accessible. Based in Stamford, Connecticut, DWR markets and sells furniture and accessories to both residential and trade customers online and through its retail studios in North America.
Design Within Reach has made it possible to receive authentic designs that give true modern essence since 1998. Designs have evolved overtime with timeless, innovative creations. Classics were not within reach in the past, so founder Rob Forbes decided to change that by creating classic furnishings easily accessible. Dealing with excellent manufacturers has maintained the Design Within Reach standards when delivering products with the best quality.
